I'm blown away by all of the comments yesterday and how quickly people responded and instigated change. The Cody Foster blog and Twitter are now private and their Facebook page has disappeared.
Christine had a great idea to post on Anthropologie's Facebook page about the issue, and I took her advice. I hope you will, too.
eta: Paper-Source carries their wares (and their facebook page here)as does Jayson Home and Garden (and their facebook page here).
Also, write the NY International Gift Fair. Many people that carry these stolen designs found out about the designer at the NYIGF in the General Gift category.

yes- will do!!
I think if you say you're boycotting them they'll delete the comment, so I guess call out Cody Foster.
commented. has anyone read the CF "about me" page? it's gross.
Just wanted to add that I work in the buying office at a national retailer and the general public and customers are able to reach the buyers just by calling and asking to speak with the buyer for whatever department, housewares, seasonal goods, etc. It is easy to reach these people if you want to speak to them in person.
It is so important to also reach out to your art/craft loving family and friends who are completely unaware and drawn to these types of products and stores. Educate whomever you can that is close to you and ask them to tell as many as they can also....Ask them to support the real Handmade over all other "look alikes"
Thank you for posting this. have posted on Anthro's FB page as well. Hopefully this will cause them to rethink some things. I would definitely like to see a class action lawsuit get filed against the "artist" Cody Foster. The fact that they have now placed "secured areas" on their web site and taken down their FB page is a good start in having gotten the point across.
@ Val... I had the same feeling! Especially when I read this:
"When designing, I draw inspiration from many sources but especially from offbeat vintage pieces and unconventional antiques. Almost all our items are handmade, using honest materials and finishes. ... I hope you’ll enjoy owning them as much as I enjoy creating them."
